Bernays’ Office for Quality Management regularly conducts numerous surveys and various researches within the teaching process and organizes training for the professional development of teachers.

Evaluations Conducted Throughout the Year

The evaluation of teaching and the work of teachers, the evaluation of guest lectures, the evaluation of student satisfaction, the self-evaluation of teachers, the evaluation of work placement, the evaluation of field courses, the evaluation of satisfaction of students who have completed professional undergraduate and professional graduate study programmes.

Evaluating the Quality of the Work of Teachers

Monitoring the work of teachers is one of the most important systems for ensuring the quality of the teaching process. For this purpose, teachers are evaluated every semester at Bernays. The satisfaction of students with the quality of teaching and the work of teachers in each individual course was analysed using the questionnaire method. Their answers can indicate shortcomings and difficulties in the teaching process and affect the improvement of quality.

Teacher evaluations were conducted during the last session of each particular course. The results of previous evaluations have shown that Bernays' students are extremely satisfied with teachers in the professional undergraduate and professional graduate study programmes, which is a positive indicator of the quality of teachers and the entire teaching process.

Evaluation of Teachers in the Winter Semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year

The evaluation was conducted on 69 respondents, of whom 21 from the Communication Management undergraduate study programme, 22 form the Tourist Destination Management and Marketing undergraduate study programme, 13 respondents from the Public Relations Management graduate study programme and 13 respondents from the Experience Management in tourism graduate study programme. The average grade given by students to teachers in the winter semester amounts to 4.69, where 5 is the highest possible score.

Evaluation of Teachers in the Summer Semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year

The evaluation was conducted on 58 respondents, of whom 20 from the Communication Management undergraduate study programme, 22 form the Tourist Destination Management and Marketing undergraduate study programme, 6 respondents from the Public Relations Management graduate study programme and 8 respondents from the Experience Management in tourism graduate study programme. The average grade given by students to teachers in the winter semester amounts to 4.58, where 5 is the highest possible score.
