Nadia Bakić and Maro Alavanja

Young entrepreneurs and alumni of Bernays who decided to use their gained knowledge and found their own companies. Maro Alavanja is an expert in crisis communication and is called a communication wunderkind, and he heads the Narativ komunikacija agency, while Nadia Brkić decided to navigate the waters of interior design. Read more!

Blanka Tomašić and Ivana Zrinka Šarić

After completing her studies at Bernays, she opened a PR agency called Mediahint, which works on projects related to digitization, ecology, tourism, culture, fashion, EU projects and the economy. Ivana Zrinka Šarić is a project manager at her own winery, Velebna Vineyards & Winery. She opened the winery together with her father, a passionate wine lover, who, over time, transferred his passion to her. Read more!

Nika Pintar

After completing her studies, Nika Pintar literally went beyond "normal". She has already made her way onto the international scene of the health and age-tech industry, and now she wants to bring people closer to the flourishing longevity industry, encouraging the development of awareness of the importance of microbes for vitality, and using AI to provide support in the implementation of healthy habits. Nika Pintar started the longevity/age-tech startup Ani Biome with her business partner to showcase the preventive biomedicine of the future by stimulating epigenetic changes through a personalized approach to the person's gut microbiome and metabolic health. Ivana Karlić Ban

The Karlić Family from Paladin, not far from Buzet, opened the first Croatian museum dedicated to one of the most expensive foods in the world and to the people who created the history of truffle-making in Istria. Ivana Karlić Ban, the third generation of the Rašpolić Family, as is the maiden name of her mother Radmila, is certainly one of the most significant visionaries of the valorization of not only the village of Paladini, where the company Karlić Tartufi is located, but all of Vrhuvština, the region connecting Buzet and Motovun, the areas that can be called perhaps the most beautiful part of Istria. For Ivana, there were no doubts about where she would develop her professional career. After graduating from Bernays, she returned to her hometown to join the family business. Read more!
